Outside Catering
Dear friends
Firstly, we would like to say a big thank you for your continued support for The Real Junk Food Project. It's is our aim to eliminate food waste by feeding bellies not bins, with the ultimate aim of 'really' feeding the world.
By choosing to use our outside catering and events you have had a direct impact on the growth of our organisation. You have helped us become one of the country's fastest growing movements having opened 30 cafés in Leeds, 80 in the UK and 120 worldwide in only 3 years.
Through these events, The Real junk Food Project has been able to generate funds that help maintain the operating costs of the organisation. Whilst we were built from a dedicated group of volunteers and activist we are now proud to say we employee 27 people on national living wage.
As the world hasn't caught up with the us in being pay as you feel #payf we have had to make slight adjustments to our pricing structure to continue our growth and be in a position to support our staff.
We are now charging a flat rate of £3.00 per head for catering events.
All events and catering has to be paid upfront.
All food is still #payf so your generous donations of time, skills or money are more than welcome.
In sure you will agree that the changes are necessary and still industry leading for both quality and cost.
